The report will discuss in detail about my own personal skills, strengths and weaknesses. The report will cover my competencies or required competencies which will help in achieving the success on professional front and those specific one which helps me in achieving excellence in my area of being a HR manager in MNC. The report will also cover intrapersonal effectiveness by taking a test NEO IPIP measure which helps in testing the personality and also helps in relating to the real life experience of life (Farh et al, 2012). The motive is to develop and progress in achieving the career goals with respect to the SMART criteria.
Interpersonal effectiveness can be explained by understanding the personality in one self and also defining the goals, strengths and weaknesses(McKay et al, 2010). It also includes practicing and improvising on self-management expertise, for example, achieving time management in life or dealing with stress perfectly. Further the report will discuss in detail about interpersonal effectiveness and different aspects of it (Langan et al,2013). The first thing which will discuss under will be a theory called the Big five dimensions of personality which will define the shades of personality in an explanatory manner.
First of all, it is important to understand about personality and different shades of it. It can be explained by understanding the individual difference among different people in terms of their behaviour pattern or emotional balance or cognition (Milfont, & Sibley, 2012). All these characteristics define a person and his or her personality and make this person different from the rest of the world. Personality can also be defined as a group of different and contrasting traits which decide the behavioural pattern and nature of an individual. Every individual must work in recognising different aspects of his or her personality and in this way he or she can easily improvise, and as a result can achieve effectiveness in work place.
